Job Purpose.
As the Technical Account Manager you will be responsible for driving end-to-end API integrations with new clients as well as optimizing existing connections. Externally you will work directly with c-level tech and product owners to deliver successful partnerships from conceptual design to operational delivery and beyond. You will work cross functionally with sales technology pricing and optimization groups and play a pivotal role in achieving financial targets for the region.
Key Responsibilities.
- Support the APAC sales team with new API integrations by reviewing partners technology and consulting on best practices to ensure efficiency.
- Support the APAC team by engaging with all Tech House to ensure 100% functionality between our clients/tech house/WebBeds.
- Engage in pre-sales activity with commercial team and propose solutions to meet client needs.
- Lead onsite workshops with clients technical team.
- Develop strong relationships with technical counterparts at clients across the region and act as central tech point of contact.
- Perform quality assurance checks on end-to-end integrations prior to launch.
- Analyse and troubleshoot complex technical problems and propose effective solutions.
- Optimize post launch integrations for technical and commercial benefit.
- Work with sales team to implement various commercial strategies to maximize partnership.
- Recommend improvements to entire launch experience including integration process and API documentation
Required Experience and Knowledge.
Qualifications & Knowledge
- At least 3 years of experience working with application support/ programming or analyst. Experience in e-commerce and/or travel industry a plus
- Fluent in English as a mandatory both written and spoken. Mandarin and other languages will be desirable.
- Proficient with APIs and multiple programming languages including SQL Json API SOAP REST or similar
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with focus on explaining complex issues to variety of audiences in a simple manner
- Strong experience in coding and software development
- Ability to deliver high quality workable solutions for technical issues
- Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems
- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously prioritize workload effectively and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
- Client facing experience working with senior level technical counterparts
- Familiarity with web-based and mobile based product development and understanding of typical technology architecture for high-volume transactional websites
