Position Summary:
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions of the community including accounts payable/receivable payroll support financial reporting and general ledger maintenance. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting leadership with timely reliable financial information.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts credit cards and other accounts.
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
- Process payroll timesheets and prepare quarterly tax filings
- Process new employee onboarding paperwork.
- Track and manage resident billing collections and move-in/move-out financials.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership to support financial decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (preferred).
- 3 years of full charge bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software Microsoft Excel and Google Drive.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
- High level of accuracy organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in senior living healthcare real estate or property management (preferred).
