The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions of the community including accounts payable/receivable payroll support financial reporting and general ledger maintenance. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting leadership with timely reliable financial information.
Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle accounting including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
Reconcile bank accounts credit cards and other accounts.
Assist with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
Process payroll timesheets and prepare quarterly tax filings
Process new employee onboarding paperwork.
Track and manage resident billing collections and move-in/move-out financials.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
Collaborate with leadership to support financial decision-making.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (preferred).
3 years of full charge bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software Microsoft Excel and Google Drive.
Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
High level of accuracy organization and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience in senior living healthcare real estate or property management (preferred).
