Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) to support interventional cardiology procedures in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab environment. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and demonstrate strong technical and patient care skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile field and equipment for procedures
- Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to changes
- Ensure proper patient preparation and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols
- Support room setup turnover and inventory management
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience in cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and sterile techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity environment
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Certifications & Licensure:
- BLS Certification Required
- ACLS Preferred
- Relevant certification (RCIS ARRT or equivalent) Preferred
