As an Asst. Key Account Manager you will be responsible to support the Channel Manager in driving sustainable sales growth and profitability within assigned accounts by developing customer strategies optimizing trade investments and ensuring strong in-store execution.
A day in the life of a Asst. Key Account Manager...
1.Drive Sales Performance & Customer Planning
- Support the achievement of sales targets (NNS volume and profitability) for assigned accounts
- Analyze sales performance identify gaps/opportunities and recommend actionable plans
- Assist in developing and executing customer joint business plans (JBP) aligned with company objectives
- Monitor and optimize promotional investments to ensure strong ROI and efficiency
2. Trade Investment & Promotion Management
- Plan execute and track promotional activities across channels
- Evaluate post-promotion performance and derive insights for continuous improvement
- Ensure alignment of trade spend with strategic priorities and financial targets
3. In-Store Execution Excellence
- Ensure high standards of in-store execution including planogram compliance availability and visibility
- Work closely with field sales teams to drive execution of agreed initiatives
- Monitor competitor activities and provide timely feedback to enhance execution strategies
4. Category Ownership & Growth
- Develop a strong understanding of category dynamics shopper behavior and market trends
- Identify growth opportunities within categories and accounts
- Support initiatives to improve share of shelf assortment and distribution
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing supply chain finance and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of plans
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver commercial objectives
- Build strong working relationships with customers to support business growth
What will make you successful...
- Degree Holder: 3 years FMCG experience within Key Accounts/ sales trade marketing functions
- Non Degree Holder: 8 years business managerial experience within sales marketing trade marketing in FMCG
- Account management experience is a must
