Do you love making connections with youth and being a positive role model We are looking for a youth engagement worker to engage with youth in the community of Blackfalds for summer programming!

Central Alberta Youth Unlimited (CAYU) is a not-for-profit Christian organization that builds meaningful long-term connections with vulnerable young people by meeting them on their turf. CAYU addresses the holistic health of young people: physical emotional mental social and spiritual.
Position Overview
This is a temporary position for 35 hours per week and a total of 8 weeks in duration as part of the Canada Summer Jobs program.
The Youth Worker will engage in meaningful relationships with the youth of will be mentored by will have an opportunity to grow and strengthen their leadership communication and teamwork skills. They will also participate in developing community initiatives within our youth leadership program.
They will be given the opportunity to help develop and execute engagement activities for local middle and high school will assist in the creation of youth-friendly community events focused on community relationships while also engaging in established youth programming.
