Title:Senior Solution Architectwith Banking Domain

Client is redefining what it means to be a regional powerhouse. We are looking for aSenior Solution Architectto lead the technical evolution of our Retail Systems. You will be the primary architect for our Digital Banking ecosystem focusing specifically on the high-stakes world ofMoney Movement. From Zelle integrations to real-time payment rails you will ensure our customers can move their money safely instantly and intuitively.

Core Responsibilities

Architectural Blueprinting:Design end-to-end solutions for retail digital platforms ensuring seamless integration between mobile/web frontends and core banking backends.

Money Movement Specialist:Act as theSubject Matter Expert (SME)for P2P (Zelle) Account-to-Account (A2A) transfers Bill Pay and emerging Real-Time Payment (RTP/FedNow) standards.

API & Integration Strategy:Lead the transition toward a microservices-based architecture utilizing RESTful APIs to connect Synovus services with third-party fintech partners.

Security-First Design:Partner with Cybersecurity to implement robust fraud detection multi-factor authentication (MFA) and KYC/AML protocols within the payment flow.

Technical Leadership:Bridge the gap between Product Managers and Engineering teams translating business dreams into technical realities without breaking the system.
