Shift: Varied (between 7:00 AM 8:00 PM)
Schedule: 40 hours/week (No weekends or holidays required)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Retail Pharmacist to support outpatient pharmacy operations in a high-volume retail setting. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications while providing clinical guidance and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and accurately dispense prescription medications
- Review medication orders and patient profiles for accuracy and safety
- Provide patient counseling and education on medications and treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Support daily workflow in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment
- Document pharmacy activities using electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers
- Oversee medication inventory and maintain operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of Ohio (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience (required)
- Vaccination certification (required)
- Experience with RX30 system (preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts within operating hours
