Job Summary
In this position you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting plans for mechanical piping ductwork and plumbing systems. Providing consistent and accurate material take-offs for purchasing is essential to this role.
This will involve 3D modeling and navigating combined trade models in a 3D environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Intermediate 3D modeling skills in AutoCAD or estimating software
- Motivated adaptive and strong personality
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent abilities with computers and Microsoft Office products
- Proficiency with Autodesk Products
- Strong time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
- Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external staff
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to two years prior experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience with CAD or estimating software.
- Trade Schooling or CAD Certification
