Based in Avignon (84) our factory specializes in plant extraction and the production of aromatic ingredients mainly for food and cosmetics applications. Our site incorporates a wide range of technologies in extraction drying grinding and liquid formulation enabling us to meet a great diversity of needs.

As a Continuous Improvement Apprentice in Avignon on a 1-to-3-year contract you will support teams in developing the maturity of the Continuous Improvement system by applying the groups standard tools and leveraging your creativity. Your mission will aim to optimize processes enhance efficiency and stimulate positive change within the organization. You will report directly to the Continuous Improvement Manager.

You will:

• Manage the 5S system: Identify and prioritize 5S projects supporting teams in deploying 5S workshops (hands-on work in the field). Ensure that managers perform regular 5S audits challenge results to foster continuous improvement and provide guidance in resolving identified deviations.
• Visual Performance Management System (KPIs): Help improve the VPMS tool and its facilitation in each department (automation and animation).
• Support the CI Manager in developing a culture of continuous improvement: Assist in creating communication and training materials contribute to the implementation of improvement ideas and encourage idea generation.
• Develop the use of the POKA tool by transferring the management of continuous improvement documentation and the 5S system into the platform. Support employees in adopting and effectively using the tool and optimize dashboards to enhance visibility and performance monitoring.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new automated dashboards as part of the transition to Microsoft platforms.

Your profile includes:

• Education: Currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field such as industrial engineering operations management continuous improvement or other related discipline.
• Language skills: Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations in English and French (international group) and occasionally collaborate in English with our global team.
• Practical and collaborative mindset: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Willingness to listen support and work on the field (manufacturing and maintenance workshop laboratory warehouse etc.).
