Job Summary

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITSM & ITOM Automation Specialist to design develop and maintain automation solutions across IT Service Management and IT Operations Management. The ideal candidate will focus on reducing manual effort improving operational efficiency and enhancing service reliability through intelligent automation scripting and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement automation solutions across ITSM processes including Incident Request Change and Problem Management.

Automate service catalog workflows approvals notifications SLAs and escalations to streamline service delivery.

Develop and maintain workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.

Enable event-driven automation including alert-to-incident creation and auto-remediation use cases.

Continuously analyze and optimize ITSM processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead.

Implement and enhance Service Mapping to provide accurate visibility of services and dependencies.

Automate CMDB population using Discovery and other tools ensuring accurate CI relationships.

Establish and maintain CMDB data quality through reconciliation normalization and governance practices.

Integrate ServiceNow with external monitoring and operational tools for seamless data flow and automation.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules.

Expertise in Flow Designer Workflow Editor and platform scripting (JavaScript Business Rules Script Includes).

Experience with event management alert correlation and alert-to-incident automation.

Knowledge of Service Mapping Discovery and CMDB lifecycle management.

Experience in automating service catalog workflows and ITSM processes.

Familiarity with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and optimization.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Event Management and AIOps capabilities.

Exposure to CMDB governance data certification and reconciliation rules.

Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.

Ability to mentor team members and support automation best practices.
