Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

. Provide L2/L3 production support for mainframe applications
. Analyze and resolve application abends DB2 issues CICS/IMS failures
. Develop and enhance programs using COBOL JCL DB2
. Perform batch job monitoring restart/recovery and performance tuning
. Work on online transactions using CICS and IMS DC
. Perform impact analysis and support minor/major enhancements
. Coordinate with upstream/downstream teams during incidents
. Participate in release activities code reviews and deployments

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Mainframe Support & Developer with strong hands-on experience in JCL COBOL DB2 CICS and IMS DB/DC. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling production support root cause analysis and application enhancements in a complex mainframe environment.

Required Technical Skills

. COBOL Strong hands-on coding and debugging
. JCL Job setup scheduling troubleshooting
. DB2 SQL performance tuning utilities
. CICS Online transaction processing and debugging
. IMS DB / IMS DC Database access transaction flows
. VSAM datasets handling
. Strong knowledge of batch and online processing
. Experience with production support tools and incident management

Soft Skills

. Excellent communication and coordination skills
. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
. Ability to work independently and take ownership
. Good documentation and stakeholder management skills


Good to Have

. Experience in application modernization or migration
