Automotive Accessory Designer
Position Overview:
We areseekinga creative and technically skilledAutomotive Accessory Designerto develop innovative interior and exterior vehicle accessories that enhance functionality performance comfort and visual appeal. The ideal candidate combinesstrong designaesthetics with engineering awareness and a deep understanding of automotive materials and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Research automotive trends consumer preferences and emerging technologies
Develop design concepts 3D models and technical drawings for vehicle accessories
CreateAccessorypresentations aligned with brand strategy
DesignandStrategizeinteriorand Exterioraccessories (trim elements storage systems lighting accents seat features spoilers roof racks grilles wheel enhancements)
Collaborate with engineering marketingand productionteamto ensure feasibility and compliance
Selectappropriate materialsconsidering durability safety and cost
Prepare detailed technical specifications and CAD files for manufacturing
Oversee prototype development and testing processes
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and automotive standards
Work within budget and production timelines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Automotive Design Industrial Design or related field
Strong sketching and conceptual visualization skills
Proficiencyin CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks CATIA Alias Rhino)
Knowledge of automotive materials manufacturing processes and safety standards
Understanding of ergonomics and user-centered design
Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualities:
Strong understanding of automotive brand identity and styling language

Ability to balance aesthetics with engineering constraints
