About the Opportunity

At Metcash were excited to announce that we will be hiringStoreworkers / Pick Packerto join our Nerang site (Monday-Friday) on acasual position with a view to permanencyin the future!

As a Storeworker / Pick Packer you will play a key role in managing stock efficiently and supporting our operations. The casual position will focus on organising stock picking orders and ensuring smooth operations for the best possible customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills have great attention to detail and be committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service. In this Role

• Unload and inspect incoming shipments ensuring items are stored in the correctlocations using the Zippy and manual handling
• Assist with stock organisation and maintain accurate inventory records. Ensure stockis easily accessible and properly stored to optimise space and flow
• Assist with picking orders ensuring the correct items are selected and prepare themfor dispatch or customer pickup
• Provide general support to the store team including helping customers when neededand organising tasks in the warehouse and on the sales floor
• Assist in performing regular stock checks and audits ensuring inventory levels areaccurately recorded

What are we looking for

• Experience in Warehouse or Retail: Previous experience in a store or warehouseenvironment is preferred
• A strong customer service background
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with the store team
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks
• Be available Monday-Friday 20-30 hours per week
