This team member will be part of the Advanced Service Group and based out of Honeywells ROCC (Regional Operations and Collaboration Center) in Duluth GA. Primary responsibilities will include travel to various customer locations (Primarily in United States but could include Canada) supporting the installations and continued life cycle services of Honeywells extensive install base of CD (cross direction) systems used in markets including pulp & paper aluminum rubber plastic films and lithium-ion battery products where a continuous sheet is produced. These CD systems include Honeywells patented solutions such as Autoslice Devronizers Aquatrol Aqualizer Calcoil.

While not actively supporting advanced service projects in the field the team member will also support operations in the ROCC facility as it relates to the Advanced Service Group and continued services working with ROCC leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with team to deliver advanced services and project installations and continued life-cycle maintenance services of Honeywells extensive install base of CD (cross direction) systems at customer facilities.
  • Work with team to support upgrades and replacements of customers cross direction control solutions and all that entails such as customer visits interfacing with local service groups factory representatives project teams etc.
  • Support executions of CD Control interface upgrade projects such as CDWeb and IDP upgrades from both a hardware and software installation configuration and commissioning standpoint.
  • Assist ROCC Leadership with the monitoring of key performance metrics using QCS 4.0 monitoring analytics dashboards remote access etc and communicating performance and potential issues to proper resources be that field teams GTAC or customers.
  • Act as a conduit between field service and customers to other internal resources including but not limited to GTAC Sheet Manufacturing Vertical COE Team Advanced Service Group Sales and Service Teams etc based on monitoring activities.
  • Use tools access and relationships to identify opportunities for additional revenue streams such as recommending optimization services Advanced Services Group activities identifying potential services and optimization services and passing along opportunities to proper resources.
  • Assist with delivery of training and workshops including development of materials labs equipment preparation etc for any training performed in ROCC facility regarding CD Control applications Interface upgrades hardware maintenance and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Travel requirement 50-60%


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Associate degree or 1 years of equivalent experience in areas such as Honeywell QCS platforms Electronics Process Control Information Technologies or military
  • 1 year of experience using Basic Windows and Microsoft Office experience

  • 1 years of experience maintaining Honeywell QCS Platforms and MD and CD Control packages
  • Be able to work effectively both individually and with a group without need of direct supervision.
  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills; capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems.
  • Capable of developing new PMS for existing and new products as knowledge is acquired.
  • Design/Engineer solutions to prevent reoccurring problems as knowledge is acquired.
  • Capable of writing reviewing and / or editing various types of technical reports
  • Able to conduct formal meetings with customer management personal.
  • Capable of evaluating control effectiveness as knowledge is acquired.
  • Capable of verifying and calibrating sensors as well as possessing a working knowledge of sensor operations and correctors
  • Knowledgeable of system architecture and operations as well as applicable database items needed for basic maintenance and calibration.
  • Project a positive and confident attitude focused on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
