About the Product:
Join Thales largest project to date: the F126 frigate program for the German Navy. Were developing and integrating all onboard subsystems enabling next-generation warfighting capabilities to counter evolving above-water threats.
About the Job:
As a Senior DevOps / CI/CD Engineer youll bridge the gap between architecture and implementation focusing on DevOps automation and CI/CD platforms. Youll translate technical designs into stable secure and scalable solutions while collaborating closely with the Lead Architect Security Architect and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement automate and manage complex CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
- Translate architectural principles into technical solutions.
- Drive improvements in stability security and automation.
- Serve as a key user for tools like GitLab CI/CD Artifactory and Jenkins.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and mentor colleagues.
About You:
Were looking for candidates who:
- Have extensive experience in complex IT environments (DevOps CI/CD automation)
- Have strong communication skills and likes connecting with their colleagues
- Are proficient with:
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins GitLab CI/CD Artifactory/Nexus.
- Containers/Orchestration: Kubernetes K3s Podman Docker.
- Infrastructure as Code: Ansible.
- Security fundamentals: Compliance IAM.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and systemic thinking.
- Thrive in collaborative agile environments with a proactive results-driven mindset.
- Take ownership of your products and work.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with military/defense systems (a plus).
- Certifications (e.g. Kubernetes Ansible CI/CD tools).
