The role:
This role is open to engineers at different stages of their career who bring curiosity commitment and the determination to see meaningful work through to production.
Were building an internal AI Copilot that helps colleagues across the business work smarter with trusted data and were looking for an Engineer who wants to learn grow and deliver real impact.
Youll join the Client Distribution Data Platform delivery team building productionready data and AI solutions that support real business workflows. This role is open to engineers at different stages of their career you dont need to meet every requirement to apply.
This is a UKbased London role only. We do not offer relocation and this role is not part of an offshore delivery model.

What youll do
- Design build and support production features for an AIenabled data product including an internal Copilot agent
- Work with operational and productfocused data pipelines powering real business processes
- Translate business questions into clear technical problem statements and solution options
- Contribute to extending and hardening AI solutions with a strong focus on reliability and operational readiness
- Take ownership of specific services or components while building them so ownership can be shared or handed over
- Collaborate with business and technical partners to deliver tangible outcomes
- Use AI tools pragmatically including knowing when not to use AI

Essential
- Experience building or contributing to cloudbased data or software solutions
- Good working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with at least one programming language (C# preferred; Python also considered)
- Understanding of data engineering concepts (pipelines data flows operational data)
- Experience working within existing CI/CD and infrastructureascode practices
- Ability to explain technical ideas clearly verbally and in writing
- Curiosity problemsolving mindset and willingness to learn
Nice to have
- Exposure to AIenabled development (e.g. prompt engineering AIassisted tools)
- Awareness of security best practices
- Exposure to asset management or financial services (not required)
