Central Alberta Youth Unlimited (CAYU) is a not-for-profit Christian organization that builds meaningful long-term connections with vulnerable young people by meeting them on their turf. CAYU addresses the holistic health of young people: physical emotional mental social and spiritual.
Position Overview
This is a temporary position for 35 hours per week and a total of 8 weeks in duration as part of the Canada Summer Jobs program.
The Youth Worker will engage in meaningful relationships with the youth of Three will be mentored by will have an opportunity to grow and strengthen their leadership communication and teamwork skills. They will also participate in developing community initiatives within our youth leadership program. They will collaborate with staff in creating curriculum.
They will assist in the preparation and support of engagement activities within Three Hills supporting the Youth Engagement Staff in the creation of weekly family or youth-friendly community events.
