Job Summary
The Finance Assistant Director will support the financial reporting and accounting functions related to legal entities and general ledger activities. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with accounting standards regulatory requirements and internal policies. The Assistant Director will lead a team of accounting professionals drive process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the organizations financial objectives; mainly focusing on the Record-to-Report and Source-to-Pay functions.

Leadership and Team Management:
Lead mentor and build a team of accounting professionals in Legal Entity and General Ledger accounting.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Effective stakeholder management across different regions.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Accounting Activities:
Review and prepare if needed journal entries including accruals prepayments and adjustments. Leading the team in charge of the accounting processes.
Review account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Manage the Entity Setups Organization Structure and Chart of Accounts.
Maintain general ledger accounts readiness ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Maintain the assigned accounting categories (vendor accruals payroll accruals investments intercompanies others) ensuring accurate recording of acquisitions disposals and adjustments including the proper documentation.
Lead fluent communication with US Leaders and GDS abroad to coordinate the activities closing period journal entries and any matters related to the accounting process.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations for the assigned accounting processes and assist in financial statement preparation.
Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements as well as internal reporting packages.
Support the month-end quarterly-end year-end closing processes ensuring all deadlines are met.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts providing variance analysis and explanations.
Assist with acquisitions and integration activities such as ensuring compliance aligning accounting procedures integrating financial systems ensuring entity is reflected in combined financial statements.
Perform full cycle accounting including by partner cost analysis and recoveries journal entry processing billing collections planning forecasting and reporting for non-US Legal Entities.
Oversee and reconcile cross-border transactions ensuring accurate recording and compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
Provide support to internal customers throughout the Accounts Payable lifecycle ensuring bank details are up to date invoices are received and cash disbursements are completed.
Ensure compliance with internal controls policies and procedures and act as a contact point for queries regarding all the accounting processes under responsibility.
Basic qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an accounting or a finance role.
Required:
Proven experience in a leadership role managing teams driving performance.
Maintains an in-depth understanding of both US and international accounting principles.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
Communication skills
Experience in Microsoft Suite of applications (Excel PowerApp) PowerBI Data Analytics tools and SAP is essential.
Proficient in ERP systems; experience with SAP or similar platforms is a plus.
Proficiency in English.
Ability to liaise with US Americas and Global based roles.
Provide support and guidance to team members as needed.
