About the Role
Our service looks after the care of medical oncology radiation oncology haematology and Medical Day Stay patients receiving chemotherapy immunotherapy and supportive therapy or patients who have recently returned from radiation therapy in Dunedin. Some of the key nursing tasks are: comprehensive patient assessment; administration of chemotherapy immunotherapies and associated supportive therapies or procedures; and psychosocial assessment and support.

About you
Were looking for a nurse who isexperiencedand organised friendly and calm able to work independently and at the same time genuinely interested in the best outcome for both patient and team. Please note our shifts are between 08:00 17:30 so some flexibility is essential.
- Must have current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC with the right to work in New Zealand.
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.
- Excellent time management interpersonal and organisational skills
- The ability to be adaptable flexible and solution focused.
- Previous acute Oncology / Haematology experience is preferable but not essential and you must have at least 1 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
