Responsibilities
The Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) is an inpatient psychiatric facility and one of Community Medical Centers four acute care hospitals. As the Valleys only inpatient mental health facility CBHC provides a safe therapeutic environment for individuals requiring 24/7 intensive psychiatric care. Patients may be admitted through walk-in services or hospital transfers receiving individualized patient-centered treatment designed to support stabilization and recovery.
At CBHC compassion dignity and clinical excellence guide every interaction. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates closely to meet the unique needs of each patient while partnering with families outpatient providers and community resources to ensure continuity of care beyond discharge.
The RN Manager is responsible for the clinical leadership operational oversight and staff development within the Community Behavioral Health Center. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality safe and effective patient care in a structured therapeutic environment. The RN Manager leads a team of nursing professionals and works collaboratively with physicians therapists and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes and an exceptional care experience.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR other healthcare related Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience
Demonstrated expertise in the service area and leadership ability
3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting
Previous leadership experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting
Licenses and Certifications
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California
