Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician

As a Sr Industrial Maintenance Technicianhere at Honeywell you will have the opportunity to provide high-level technical support and service to our customers ensuring the optimal performance of Honeywell products and systems. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues perform maintenance and repairs and provide training and guidance to customers and junior technicians. Your expertise and dedication will drive customer satisfaction and contribute to the success of our service operations.

You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and youll work out of our Grand Prairie Texas location on a Rotating Nights work schedule.

In this role you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our service operations enhance customer satisfaction and support the growth of our business by ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and repair complex technical issues on Honeywell equipment and conveyance systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues
• Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions

YOU MUST HAVE

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid drivers license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical service or field service role
• Minimum of 1 year experience troubleshooting skills working on conveyors wiring electrical and PLC knowledge is a plus
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated ability working independently and manage multiple tasks

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• The ability to lift 25 pounds individually and 50 pounds as a two-person team
• The ability to carry required tools and tool bag (10-15lbs) regularly for extended periods and distances.
• The ability to spend long periods of time standing and / or walking on concrete and other surfaces.
• The ability to work above your head for extended period of time while standing laying or seated (e.g. 30mins). The ability to lift weights listed above your head.
• The ability to move safely in confined spaces which may require crawling on hands and knees.
• The ability to safely climb / descend ladders and stairs frequently.
• The ability to work on a ladder for extended periods of time.
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly to include but not limited to; safety shoes hard hat safety glasses / goggles / face shield hearing protection safety harness ARC Flash suites chemical and/or cut resistant gloves.
