Trade Marketing Manager

We are looking for a results-driven Trade Marketing Manager to act as the strategic bridge between the Global/Corporate Brand strategy and the local market sales execution. This role is responsible for translating brand plans into effective channel-specific marketing initiatives that drive traffic conversion and brand visibility at the point of sale ultimately aligning with the companys commercial growth objectives in China.

More about the role:

  • Channel & Brand Strategy Execution
    • Translate the global commercial and brand strategy into localized trade marketing policies and channel-specific action plans to drive business growth.
    • Set and manage the trade marketing budget and measurable targets (ROI market share distribution KPIs) for the China market.
    • Act as the key liaison between corporate/China marketing team and the local sales force to ensure synergy between global brand campaigns and local retail/trade execution.
    • Conduct regular store visits and trade partner meetings to gather market intelligence regarding pricing competition sales opportunities and customer behavior. Centralize this data to provide actionable business intelligence and recommendations.
  • Marketing Communication(online and offline)
    • Be responsible for brand strategy development marketing mix planning to ensure successful launch and sustainable growth of product
    • Be responsible for all marketing events ensuring the objectives are met and the events receive high marks from attendees (internal and external)
    • Develop media relations plans and implements with the sales team
    • Ensure that all marketing communication and business development activities are consistent with Sonova brand image and graphics standards program
    • Execute the digital strategy and direction including activation activities content management cross websites and social media platforms etc.
    • Translate business opportunities customer needs and business goals into an actionable digital plans
  • Performance Management & Budget Control
    • Set clear KPIs for trade campaigns (e.g. distribution gains market share ROI sell-out volume) and track performance against targets.
    • Manage the trade marketing budget ensuring efficient allocation of resources across channels and campaigns.
    • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics across all channels reporting back insights to guide future strategy.

More about you:

  • Minimum 10 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in a Trade Marketing Channel Marketing or Category Management role within the medical device pharmaceutical OTC or healthcare FMCG sector in MNC.
