Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Atlanta GA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours/week (3x12)
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Position Overview
A reputable healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide advanced respiratory care services in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and experience managing a wide range of respiratory conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assess treat and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
- Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy aerosol treatments and ventilator management
- Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment
- Respond to emergency situations and provide life-support interventions
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Ensure compliance with facility protocols and patient safety standards
Schedule & Work Details
- Night shift schedule (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
- 12-hour shifts 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Every other weekend required
- Travelers must reside outside a 50-mile radius
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist required
Licensure & Certifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (NBRC) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) AHA required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) AHA required
