Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Practice Administrator the Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for additional care coordination between all providers.
This position also requires patient education provided by the RN which includes information regarding any infusions/medications administered to the patient information related to chemotherapy administration the potential risks side effects and the mental/emotional impact of chemotherapy. This patient care coordinator is located in our Oncology/Hematology department. The perfect candidate has good customer service skills and treats all patients in a friendly helpful and professional manner. The Patient Care Coordinator must be a team player providing help and support to their co-workers and demonstrating professionalism through adherence to Ogden Clinics mission vision and values.
