What Youll Do

• Respond to fire medical hazmat weather and facility emergencies
• Perform fire suppression using apparatus hydrants hose stations and extinguishers
• Conduct rescue operations (vehicle machinery high/low angle)
• Provide medical response patient care triage stabilization and transport
• Communicate incident details to dispatch supervisors and medical staff
• Assist with hazardous materials spill containment
• Perform patrols escorts access control and reporting as needed
• Complete required reports and logs

Required Qualifications

• NFPA Firefighter I & II
• Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations
• EMT or EMR certification (Indiana or National Registry)
• Out-of-state certifications must transfer to Indiana within 90 days

• Must be able to meet and continue to meet all applicable state county and local certification requirements for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) level certification

• Ability to meet the physical and certification requirements of the role (with or without reasonable accommodation)
