Location: Katowice - 2 days office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

We are looking for a Business Architect with strong Core Banking expertise to bridge the gap between business strategy and technology execution. This role is ideal for someone who understands banking operations deeply and can translate them into scalable digital and core platform solutions.

Your key responsibilities

• Define and design business architecture frameworks aligned with banking transformation goals
• Work closely with stakeholders to map business capabilities value streams and processes
• Drive core banking transformation initiatives (modernization migration or integration)
• Collaborate with IT and solution teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery
• Conduct gap analysis across legacy and modern banking systems
• Support regulatory compliance and risk-related initiatives
• Contribute to target operating models (TOM) and roadmap planning

Skills and attributes for success

We are looking for someone who can break down complex problems communicate technical concepts clearly and approaches challenges with an analytical mindset.

To qualify for the role you must have

• 4 years of experience in Banking & Financial Services
• Strong understanding of Core Banking platforms (e.g. Temenos Finacle TCS BaNCS Flexcube etc.)
• Experience in digital transformation / core modernization programs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Exposure to Agile / Scrum environments

Expertise in:

• Business process modelling (BPMN UML)
• Banking domains (Retail Corporate Payments Lending)

Ideally youll also have

• German language proficiency at B2 level or higher both written and spoken
• Knowledge of Open Banking / APIs / PSD2
• Experience in consulting environments
