Are you a peoplecentred leader who thrives in a fastpaced highvolume transactional environment Do you bring fresh thinking challenge the status quo and inspire teams to deliver exceptional service The Shared Transaction Centre (STC) is looking for a dynamic Team Leader Procure to Pay to guide our talented Finance Administrators and help shape the future of our service delivery.
As part of OneFinance the STC plays a critical role in the Universitys purchasing and financial operations. You will lead a team of 13 finance administrators ensuring they are supported coached and empowered to perform at their best. As the position description states the role exists to organise and direct the daily activities of the STCs operations ensuring recruitment quality induction training and coaching for team members is planned and occurring and to ensure staff have the appropriate level of responsibility training and resources to achieve agreed goals.
In this role you will:
- Provide strong people leadership mentoring coaching and developing a large team to achieve high performance.
- Foster a collaborative inclusive customer centric culture that encourages continuous improvement.
- Manage daily operations in a fast paced high volume Procure to Pay environment ensuring accuracy efficiency and compliance with University policies and procedures.
- Drive innovation by challenging existing processes and championing new ideas that enhance service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to policy controls and compliance frameworks.
- Use your strong systems capabilityparticularly across ERP platforms (PeopleSoft) and related applicationsto support smooth transactional processing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across faculties service divisions suppliers and customers.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday).
Salary range is $76000 - $94000pa plus benefits.

- Proven experience leading coaching and developing a sizeable team in a complex high volume transactional environment.
- A track record of motivating teams building capability and fostering engagement.
- Strong operational management experience with a focus on accuracy timeliness and customer service.
- A continuous improvement mindsetsomeone who naturally questions how things can be done better and drives meaningful change.
- Confidence working with ERP systems and financial applications ideally PeopleSoft.
- A commitment to compliance quality and policy driven processes.
- The ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across diverse stakeholder groups.
