Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services in a school-based setting. This float position supports students across classrooms and/or school sites focusing on improving motor sensory and functional skills to enhance academic performance and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services based on Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Support development of fine motor skills sensory integration and daily living skills
• Conduct student assessments and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with teachers special education staff and parents
• Adapt classroom environments and materials to meet individual student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Float between classrooms and assigned school locations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license (state-specific)
• Strong understanding of IEPs and special education services
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to a flexible float-based assignment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a school-based setting
