Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging bilingual instruction (Spanish/English) aligned with curriculum standards
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs
- Support literacy and language development in both English and Spanish
- Assess and monitor student progress maintaining accurate academic records
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and academic levels
- Foster a positive inclusive and culturally responsive classroom environment
- Collaborate with teachers specialists and administrators to support student success
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians in both English and Spanish
- Implement effective classroom management strategies
- Participate in staff meetings professional development and school activities
- Ensure compliance with state and district educational standards and policies
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Department of Education Instructional License
- Bilingual Endorsement (Spanish) from NJ DOE
- Strong proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Preferred Skills
- Experience teaching in an elementary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learners
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity
