Job Summary
Specialist in designing analyzing and validating packaging processes for components and finished products ensuring they meet quality cost and regulatory standards established by customers and the organizations internal procedures. This includes implementing innovative and efficient solutions that optimize packaging performance improve product protection during transport and contribute to sustainability and safety in packaging processes. Additionally the Packaging Engineer must lead continuous improvement initiatives collaborate with various departments and foster talent development within the team.
Train new packaging associates in processes critical to the position.
Serve as the first point of contact for issues related to SAP Customer Portals.
Qualifications :
Engineer Industrial Engineer Mechanical Engineer.
4 - 5 years in similar position.
Packaging design principles
Packaging regulations and standards.
Cost analysis.
Continuous improvement.
Calculation of packing loops
Project management
Microsoft Office (Excel Power Point)
Power BI
Innovation and sustainability.
Relations with Suppliers and Customers
Finance: Financial analysis of RFQs and business cases
Knowledge of packaging materials.
ISTA and/or ASTM D4332 packaging tests
Data analysis
Supply chain management.
Quality regulations
Sustainability in packaging

Process simulation
SAP - Specific transactions for packaging labeling shipping and demand analysis modules.
