As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driving Role in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Our Armed Patrol Officers in a retail location help monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming customer experience. This is a driving and armed post for professionals who value teamwork integrity and a caring culture while delivering agile reliable and innovative service through strong communication and responsive patrols.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures following post orders and/or responding to emergency situations in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Perform regular and random armed patrols throughout the store parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents such as disturbances suspicious activity policy violations and/or requests for assistance documenting observations and actions taken according to site protocols.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic retail areas to help support access control practices observe customer and staff activity and/or report issues that require attention.
• Work with local management team members and/or first responders during incidents maintaining a professional presence while following armed post guidelines and security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
