Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool
Location: Cincinnati OH 45219
Assignment Length: 8 Weeks (Strong potential for extension)
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
Shift: Night Shift (3x12-hour shifts)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Float Pool position. This role involves delivering high-quality patient-centered care across multiple units. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment flexibility and the ability to thrive in dynamic healthcare environments while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical psychosocial and educational needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care and interventions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
• Provide patient and family education
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
• Respond effectively to emergency situations
• Adhere to infection control protocols and patient safety standards

Education

• Required: Diploma in Nursing
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure & Certifications

• Active RN License (Ohio or Compact State)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) Required

Experience & Qualifications

• Prior experience in acute care settings preferred
• Ability and willingness to float across multiple units
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying patient populations and care environments
