Description

The Russ Darrow Group is seeking a driven and experienced New Car Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team. This role is ideal for a proven automotive professional who thrives on coaching others driving results and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

As a New Car Sales Manager you will play a key role in mentoring Sales Associates improving team performance and helping customers through the buying process. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills a track record of success in automotive sales and a hands-on approach to desking and closing deals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead motivate and hold the sales team accountable to performance goals and standards
  • Work directly with customers and sales staff to build relationships and enhance the overall sales process
  • Assist in desking deals structuring transactions and closing new car deals and helping with used car deals when necessary
  • Train coach and mentor Sales Associates on proven sales techniques and product knowledge
  • Monitor and improve team productivity including lead follow-up appointments and closing ratios
  • Support the development of each salespersons pipeline and customer base
  • Facilitate ongoing sales training and team development initiatives
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
  • Collaborate with F&I and other departments to ensure smooth deal flow and customer experience
  • Maintain expert knowledge of OEM programs incentives and compliance requirements ensuring accurate application on all deals
  • Oversee new vehicle inventorymanagementincluding ordering aging pricing strategy and turn rate optimization
  • Support manufacturer initiatives including sales events launches and CSI programsto meet or exceed OEM benchmarks

  • Must be interested in training additional sales associates and work within a team environment
  • Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
