Job Summary
Preschool and Day School Educational Aide (Part -Time) St. Francis Xavier School educational aide supports the classroom teacher in creating a safe nurturing and engaging learning environment rooted in faith structure and student successful candidate will demonstrate:Assist individual students and small groups with learning activities Support instruction under the direction of the classroom teacherProvide reinforcement of skills and concepts taught in classSupport students with special learning needs or accommodationsHelp maintain student focus and engagement in a quiet supportive mannerAssist with student assessments and data collection as directedPrepare instructional materials bulletin boards and classroom displays if needed by teacherOrganize classroom materials and complete copying/cutting tasksMaintain inventory of classroom suppliesAssist with attendance and record keepingCompile and send home absent work; support students in completing missed workAssist in organizing student work (including projects for year-end events)Accompany students on field trips and school outingsAssist with special classes (specials) as neededSupport school-wide initiatives and eventsPlease reach out to Mrs. Kathy Metzger at to request an application or feel free to send your resume directly to her.
