Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic B is responsible for supporting the maintenance troubleshooting and repair of equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems as well as a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Perform basic electrical wiring repairs using voltage meters and technical schematics
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Repair equipment by removing replacing or restoring defective components
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels anticipating needs and ensuring timely ordering of parts and supplies
- Maintain a clean organized and efficient work area
- Adhere to and promote a safe working environment at all times
Requirements
- Basic computer proficiency
- Experience using a voltmeter
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics
- Working knowledge of hand tools air tools and pneumatic tools
- Basic welding and cutting torch experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
