As global attention on the semiconductor industry continues to increaseespecially within the EU US and Asiaour Advocacy & Alliances team plays a crucial role in helping the company navigate political regulatory and geopolitical developments.

To strengthen this team we are opening a vacancy for an International Advocacy Officer at our global headquarters in Nijmegen.

In this role you will support the development and execution of Nexperias publicpolicy engagement with a primary focus on EU German and Dutch institutions. You will work closely with the Head of Global Advocacy & Alliances and other team members across markets to help shape Nexperias messaging track political and regulatory developments and contribute to stakeholder engagement activities.

In this role you will:

  • Monitor and analyze (inter)national policy and regulatory developments particularly those affecting the semiconductor sector.

  • Support the preparation of Nexperias policy positions briefing notes and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist in coordinating activities across the Advocacy & Alliances team ensuring alignment on messaging and policy priorities.

  • Contribute to strategic projects that support the companys longterm interests in light of geopolitical developments.

  • Support engagement with EU and national stakeholders including public authorities industry associations and research institutions.

The position is primarily based in Nijmegen with occasional travel to The Hague and Brussels.

Partial work from home is also allowed.

What you will need

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in international politics EU affairs and the global tech landscape and is eager to grow into an impactful publicpolicy role.

You have:

  • 23 years of relevant experience in public affairs government relations EU policy consulting think tanks or related fields.

  • A masters degree in International Politics Public Administration International Relations Law or similar.

  • A proactive wellorganized working style and the ability to handle multiple topics in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate political developments into clear concise briefings.

  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch (native speaker) and English;
