About the Opportunity:

We are partnering with a global leader in advanced materials and aluminum manufacturing to identify a Metallurgical Engineer who will play a critical role in supporting high-volume sheet production operations. This is an opportunity to join a large-scale highly automated manufacturing environment where your expertise will directly impact product quality process optimization and continuous improvement.

What Youll Do:

• Drive process control and product quality within sheet manufacturing operations
• Investigate and resolve metallurgical and production-related quality issues
• Evaluate and improve materials processes and equipment performance
• Partner closely with operations maintenance and production teams on the floor
• Apply metallurgical principles (phase diagrams thermodynamics heat transfer etc.) to real-world manufacturing challenges
• Support a 24/7 production environment including occasional off-shift or weekend engagement

What You Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Metallurgical Engineering Materials Science or Chemical Engineering
• 1 years of experience (internships count) in metals manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong foundation in physical/mechanical metallurgy and material processing
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a plant-based hands-on environment
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR compliance required)

Highly Preferred:

• Experience in aluminum or metals manufacturing
• Exposure to quality systems (AS9100 or IATF16949)
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and statistical analysis
• 4 years of relevant metallurgical experience
