This is a role for machinists who take pride in tight tolerances micro-precision work and full ownership of quality. If youre experienced with Swiss CNC lathes and thrive in a fast-paced detail-driven shop this is where your skillset stands out.

What Youll Do:

• Operate CNC Swiss-style lathes independently on swing shift
• Perform full machine setups (tooling offsets program verification first article)
• Make real-time adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and part quality
• Own inspection documentation and quality control for your work
• Troubleshoot machining issues (tool wear alarms surface finish variation)
• Partner with day shift for seamless production handoffs
• Maintain production records and ensure adherence to control plans and specs
• Grind and maintain cutting tools (carbide/HSS)
• Keep a clean safe and organized machining environment

What You Bring:

• 5 years of experience in:
  • CNC Swiss lathes mills or turning centers
  • FANUC controls
• Proven experience machining small high-precision components
• Strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving ability
• Experience with:
  • Advanced metrology
  • GD&T and blueprint reading
  • CNC programming (preferred)
  • Tool grinding / reconditioning (a plus)

Schedule:

• Swing Shift (Start between 2pm4pm)
• Training may occur on day shift

• $67K $111K base salary (depending on experience)
