Position: Gastroenterologist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $150$200/hour
Location: Preferred in person (SF)
Commitment: Up to 10 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Review and label clinical narratives EHR notes endoscopy reports imaging findings and case data related to gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
• Identify and validate diagnoses diagnostic workups procedural findings treatment plans and outcomes such as IBD GI bleeding liver disease and malignancies.
• Audit annotated datasets for clinical accuracy and guideline alignment with AGA ACG and AASLD.
• Evaluate AI-generated recommendations for diagnostic evaluation medical management and procedural interventions.
• Define annotation guidelines for complex GI conditions like inflammatory bowel disease cirrhosis complications and pancreatic disorders.
• Provide structured feedback to improve diagnostic reasoning procedural accuracy and patient safety.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• MD or DO with Gastroenterology specialization
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active U.S. medical license in good standing
• 5 years of post-fellowship clinical experience
• Strong familiarity with EHRs endoscopy reporting systems and clinical terminologies

Preferred

• Experience with endoscopy inpatient consults and complex GI/hepatology cases
• Interest in medical AI or informatics
