Romanian Speaking Content Moderator in Porto

Location: Porto Portugal (on-site role)

Monday to Sunday 09:0018:00 with 2 rotating days off

Start Date: 26 March 2026

Contract: Permanent contract after a 3-month probation period

Compensation:
Base salary over 14 months
Daily meal allowance of 7.63

Relocation Support:
Shared accommodation provided for candidates relocating from outside Portugal for up to 12 months

Role Overview

You will be part of a Romanian-speaking content moderation team supporting one of the largest global short-video and social media platforms in Porto. The role involves reviewing user-generated content and ensuring it complies with community standards. Your decisions will directly contribute to maintaining a safe online environment.

This position requires strong emotional resilience as some content may be sensitive. Wellbeing and psychological support are available. Porto offers a dynamic tech environment an international atmosphere and a more affordable cost of living compared to Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate Romanian-language content based on platform policies
• Take consistent policy-driven decisions regarding content approval or removal
• Detect and escalate high-risk or severe cases according to guidelines
• Meet quality and productivity targets in a fast-paced environment
• Join regular calibration sessions to stay aligned with policies
• Highlight unclear cases and contribute to process improvements

Candidate Profile

• Fluent Romanian speaker
• Good level of English
• Ability to handle sensitive content professionally
• Strong written communication and decision-making skills
• Familiarity with online platforms and digital culture
• Valid EU ID Portuguese residence permit or work authorization
• Availability to start on 26 March 2026
