About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Application Integration Architect to design and deliver secure cloud-native integration solutions within a GCP environment. This role is critical in enabling scalable API ecosystems that support AI-driven solutions and cross-platform integrations.

You will work closely with enterprise architecture and engineering teams to build high-performance APIs that power internal systems AI agents and customer-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver highly secure cloud-native Process Integration APIs on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Collaborate with project leadership and enterprise architecture teams to ensure alignment with strategic direction
• Develop APIs for secure consumption by AI agents internal services and front-end applications
• Build integration solutions supporting AI-driven WhatsApp flows across multiple countries
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal IT delivery platforms
• Ensure best practices in API security scalability and performance

Required Skills & Experience

Core Expertise

• 810 years of experience in application integration architecture
• Proven experience delivering cloud-native and serverless applications on GCP
• Strong track record in API design and development particularly around entitlement handling within API layers

Technical Skills

• Experience with Apigee / Apigee X Pub/Sub and related GCP services
• Proficiency in / TypeScript and/or Python (FastAPI)
• Hands-on experience with OpenAPI specifications
• Strong understanding of OIDC / OAuth authentication and authorization

Development & Security Practices

• Solid experience in DevSecOps environments
• Strong knowledge of GitLab and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
