Job Summary

Job Description

  • Prepare and produce bakery products such as bread buns rolls loaf bread and other dough-based items according to standard recipes
  • Handle full bakery production process including mixing kneading proofing shaping baking and cooling
  • Monitor fermentation dough consistency proofing time and baking conditions to ensure consistent product quality
  • Ensure all bakery products meet required standards in taste texture weight and appearance
  • Maintain cleanliness hygiene and sanitation of bakery workstation and equipment in compliance with GMP/HACCP standards
  • Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as mixers ovens proofers and dough sheeters safely and properly
  • Manage ingredient preparation stock usage and minimize wastage
  • Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished bakery products
  • Assist in daily production planning and ensure smooth workflow in bakery section
  • Guide and supervise junior bakery staff or assistants when required
  • Work closely with senior chefs to maintain production efficiency and consistency
  • Perform any other bakery-related duties assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in Bakery Baking Science or Culinary Arts
  • At least 24 years of experience in bakery production (industrial bakery hotel or central kitchen)
  • Strong knowledge of bread production techniques and dough handling
  • Understanding of fermentation yeast activity and baking processes
  • Knowledge of food hygiene safety standards and GMP/HACCP practices
  • Able to work in a production-based fast-paced environment
  • Good teamwork discipline and attention to detail
  • Willing to work shifts weekends and public holidays if needed.

Salary Range: Up to RM4k
