Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is a skilled Radiation Therapist to join a Radiation Oncology team in an acute care setting. Key Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
- Ensure proper patient positioning and treatment setup
- Monitor patients during treatment and respond to adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate treatment records using electronic medical records
- Collaborate with oncologists physicists and clinical staff
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory guidelines
- Float between similar units as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience
- ARRT (T) Certification (required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
- Active state license (required; pending licenses not accepted)
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
