Supervisor Fleet

Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interacts with Fleet leadership to fill needs identified by Operations.
- Train develops and supervises mechanics and maintenance personnel.
- Develop and maintain adequate maintenance and repair strategies minimizing downtime to see that operational and project requirements can be met.
- Ensures Fleet management systems are updated timely and accurately and that asset assignments are always accurate.
- Oversees third party vendor shop and field repair processes that ensure all Fleet assets are properly maintained at appropriate intervals.
- Optimizes expenditures on staff maintenance equipment repairs and purchases.
- Responsible for compliance to all Company policies and practices as well as any government regulations.
- Perform and delegate other assignments given to support the Fleet Department
Requirements and Qualifications:
- At least 5 years experience in fleet and/or equipment service operations.
- Ability to follow instruction and communicate effectively.
- Proven ability to multi-task and problem solve.
- Must think and act strategically conducting long-term plans to meet operational needs and departmental goals.
- Needs Management experience with the ability to develop and lead team of field mechanics/technicians.
- Sound knowledge of computer software such as Access Excel and Word.
- Extensive travel required. Must be able to manage multiple project location at once.
