Job Summary
Maersk Air Cargo is a critical part of Maersks global logistics network operating in a highly regulated assetintensive aviation environment. We are looking for a finance leader to serve as Head of Finance partnering closely with the Air Cargo leadership team to drive financial insight discipline and longterm value creation.
This is a highimpact leadership role suited to individuals with aviation airline or air cargo experience who are comfortable operating in complex environments with significant operational regulatory and stakeholder demands.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Own the financial strategy for Maersk Air Cargo including budgeting forecasting capital allocation cost control and financial risk management
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders on performance management investment decisions and financial tradeoffs
- Drive transparency across EBIT costtoserve working capital asset utilisation and ROI
Asset Economics & Lifecycle Management
- Maintain a forwardlooking financial view of the fleet engines and major assets including lease and endoflife considerations
- Oversee financial planning related to maintenance events asset investments and cost exposure
- Govern pricing and financial models for ACMI and adhoc charter activity
Governance Compliance & Risk
- Ensure strong financial controls statutory reporting audit readiness and regulatory compliance
- Oversee aviationspecific compliance areas including environmental and emissions frameworks (e.g. ETS CORSIA SAF)
- Manage risk insurance and legal exposure in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Leadership & Organisation
- Lead and develop an engaged finance organisation
- Build credibility across the organisation through clear communication collaboration sound judgment and decisive leadership
Who You Are
- A proven finance leader from the aviation airline or air cargo industry
- Experienced in regulated assetheavy environments with longterm investment horizons
- Collaborative and comfortable operating in complex senior stakeholder settings
- Commercially minded structured and resilient with strong leadership presence
