Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students staff visitors and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical situations and/or critical events in a calm professional problem-solving manner while preparing accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings parking areas walkways and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and campus grounds verify credentials when required and report policy violations hazards and/or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all post orders and applicable use of force weapons handling and reporting protocols while maintaining a professional presence during routine operations and heightened situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
