Job Summary
The Golf Shop attendant will support many aspects of Golf Operations and will embody the Club at Crested Buttes standards of service and member experience.
Essential Duties:
- Greet members and guests as they enter the Golf Shop in a prompt and professional manner.
- Assist patrons in purchasing shop merchandise.
- Promote shop merchandise to patrons.
- Utilize Point of Sales Systems to complete cash credit card and member charge transactions.
- Record and drop shift transactions and maintain cash drawer count.
- Nurture customer relations and enhance the quality of the golf experience.
- Assist club members and guests in securing/confirming Tee-Time reservations.
- Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of Club-related activities and events.
- Work closely with the Clubhouse Front Desk staff to ensure member satisfaction.
- Create a customer service-oriented atmosphere that promotes the game of golf.
- Adhere to safe work practices outlined by Management.
- Maintain a clean organized work environment; light housekeeping duties required.
- Perform other duties as required by Management.
Physical Demands:
- Physical activity may include long periods (6-8 hours) of standing walking reaching bending and scooping.
- Regularly lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- May encounter caustic or toxic chemicals.
- May work in outdoor weather conditions.

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Private Country Club or golf industry experience preferred.
Work Requirements:
- Ability to work AM PM weekends and holidays.
- Experience operating a retail point of sale computer.
- Possess high ethical standards and work under minimal supervision.
- Strong administrative communication and organizational skills.
