Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is hiring a skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with strong CVICU/ICU experience to join a high-performing clinical team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care in a critical care setting with flexibility to support CVICU and Med/Surg Tele units based on patient volume and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process: assessment planning implementation and evaluation
• Administer medications and closely monitor patient responses
• Maintain accurate timely and compliant patient documentation
• Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical psychological and social aspects
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams
• Act as a clinical resource and support staff education and mentorship
• Perform charge nurse duties when assigned
• Utilize electronic health records and nursing informatics systems efficiently
• Adhere to all hospital policies safety regulations and infection control standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient outcome evaluations
• Engage in continuous professional development and skill enhancement
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and professional conduct

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum experience in CVICU and critical care settings
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency exams
• Strong communication critical thinking and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
• CCRN certification
• TCAR certification
• De-escalation training
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Hemodynamic monitoring
  • Ventilator management
  • Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring
