Navitas Healthcare LLC is hiring a skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with strong CVICU/ICU experience to join a high-performing clinical team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care in a critical care setting with flexibility to support CVICU and Med/Surg Tele units based on patient volume and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process: assessment planning implementation and evaluation
Administer medications and closely monitor patient responses
Maintain accurate timely and compliant patient documentation
Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical psychological and social aspects
Develop and coordinate individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams
Act as a clinical resource and support staff education and mentorship
Perform charge nurse duties when assigned
Utilize electronic health records and nursing informatics systems efficiently
Adhere to all hospital policies safety regulations and infection control standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient outcome evaluations
Engage in continuous professional development and skill enhancement
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and professional conduct
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum experience in CVICU and critical care settings
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
Completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency exams
Strong communication critical thinking and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
CCRN certification
TCAR certification
De-escalation training
Hands-on experience with:
Hemodynamic monitoring
Ventilator management
Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring
