The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities employs over 1900 staff and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications including power generation transmission and distribution oil chemical and gas industrial manufacturing semiconductor and data centers as well as building and transportation sectors.

How youll make an impact

1. You will implement and execute global standard business processes within the factory will ensure day-to-day operations comply with global templates rules and process standards also minimize local deviations and escalate unavoidable gaps to HUB BPO. Ensure proper and disciplined usage of SAP MES and related systems by factory users maintain data accuracy completeness and consistency at factory level also support data correction root cause analysis and issue prevention. And collect and clarify factory business requirements related to processes and systems identify process or system issues perform first-level analysis and coordinate resolution also escalate complex or cross-factory issues to HUB BPO with clear problem definition. Identify local improvement opportunities and best practices propose process improvement ideas and requirements to HUB BPO and support pilot testing and local rollout of approved process changes.

2. You will act as factory change agent for new processes systems or releases communicate process changes clearly to factory users and support adoption address resistance and ensure smooth transition. Support process and system training at factory level and act as key contact for factory users on process-related questions also ensure users understand standard processes and roles.

3. You will partners with the cross-functional leadership team in developing and operationalizing the Strategy Deployment process and Operations Center/Obeya development of breakthrough objectives action plans KPIs (Bowlers) and leads in development of Kaizen funnel to support the overall deployment. Lead in operationalizing Strategy Deployment ensuring effective Factory Standard Work and a connected daily management system. Change agent and champion of a continuous improvement culture focused on waste elimination across the organization using ITM lean methods processes and tools such as 5S Daily Management Leader Standard Work Practical Problem Solving Value Stream Mapping Kaizen Total Productive Maintenance etc. Lead all activities in the organization to implement the ITM system and drive improved maturity assessment process to advance the organization through the ITM phases of deployment. Closely monitors ITM Maturity Assessment results and facilitates implementation of actions to lead the organization through the maturity phases; drive to the ideal state of ITM is how we run the businesses.

4. You will drive optimization of KPIs around Safety Quality Delivery Inventory and Cost. Facilitate the integration of the HSE and Quality Management system into the ITM system for the organization. Lead and facilitate Cost Take-out kaizens for the organization and partner with the extended cross-functional organization on overall use of ITM tools to drive cost-out and productivity improvements. Own the overall management of RELEX KPIs and Improvement projects for the Factory including driving employee ownership and involvement. Develop Financial acumen to ensure priority actions are focused on driving the right improvements in the organization impacting the bottom line and tied to Strategy Deployment.

5. You will create manage and facilitate the development of Cost-out and productivity projects across the business to achieve targets. Facilitate and train team members in utilization of RELEX reporting of Improvement projects. Ensure effective sustainment of results and support problem solving (Root Cause Countermeasure A3s) as needed to close gaps to targets. Lead in the execution of impactful Cost Take-out improvement projects (kaizens) for the Factory and build continuous improvement capability through training and implementation of ITM tools and methods. Be the expert on the ITM system with focus on training and coaching others to build capabilities on the tools and methods to drive process transformation. Build a Coaching culture across the organization with focus on Employee Engagement and Accountability. Combine technical knowledge with people and organizational skills to deliver organizational maturity and KPI improvements. Translate if necessary and train in local languages the ITM body of knowledge.

6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration Information Technology or related field.

2. Proficient in data analysis and reporting with the ability to synthesize information and derive actionable insights for process improvement.

3. Demonstrated competence in influencing and motivating teams to adopt new processes reduce resistance and achieve successful transitions to globally harmonized practices.

4. Understanding of change management methodologies and best practices.

5. English level above CET-6 excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and persuade diverse stakeholders at all levels.
