Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cable Design Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in the design installation and engineering of high-voltage and extra-high-voltage power cables. The role involves end-to-end cable engineering activities including design calculations route surveys installation methodologies and coordination of jointing and termination works for large-scale infrastructure projects.
Your role
- Cable design hands on experience.
- Cable sizing and ampacity calculations.
- Voltage levels 132kV 275kV 400kV and HVDC 500Kv.
- Type of insulation.
- Installation and Laying.
- Cable laying methods.
- Cable trench and duct bank.
- Cable pulling calculations.
- Route survey and desktop survey .
- Jointing and terminations.
- If experience in Sub-marine cables ( preferrable ).
- Software CYMCAP etc.
- Experience 5 to 10 years.
